So you want that really cool Climate Control that you've seen in the Crown Vics, Explorers, Grand Marquis and Lincolns huh? :hehe:

Well With the help of Bill (Alberta7.3) I have it in my truck, and trust me, it wasnt easy, and I am still working out the bugs...

If you are interested in a kit. $650 for a basic kit. $750 for a kit that's compatible with steering wheel controls.

Since people were taking the information and research from this page, and not giving anyone who fronted this project this an ounce of credit, Ive had to remove this write up.

I (Garrett M) Request this page to NOT be saved to any website archive. And if it is currently saved to any internet archive, that it be REMOVED from said site.

HAHA yeah, I always found myself reaching for the control's Being too hot or too cold etc etc.

The fan now has 12 different settings instead of just 4, and it also varies the blend door to allow the inside temp to stay at the temp set on the unit. :thumb:

Wow, nice job! That would be so sweet to have! I wonder how easy it would be to put it in a super duty that doesn't have it already.

Cause I pulled everything from a Junkyard, by myself. Approximately 80-100 dollars. Not including the amount of time invested.
It really wasnt Bad, Bill (Alberta 7.3) Put alot more work into his, but his looks and more than likely performs better than mine. But mine works very nice.

And hours invested? 8 hours to install, about 4 hours to remove the stuff from the car, about 4 hours spent modifying the head unit, figure 2-3 hours to seperate the harness for the EATC from the car harness, and probably another 3 hours in testing and fitting. Not to mention the HOURS of research to get it all right. So figure on about 30 hours.

I also had a bad Inside Air Temp Sensor, so tack another 30 bucks onto the full price for a NEW one.

Ok guys, I added some more details, a few photos, and an update in the "how-to"

Ive had this in my truck since the last week of January, and have had no problems since working the bugs out. Still works great with no issues :)
