glow plugs

I have a 96 F250 with the 7.3 diesel. This is my first diesel so it's all new to me. I need to replace the glow plugs and I'm wondering is there a certain name brand that is better than the rest?

Thanks,
I've got a manuel telling how to check the glow plugs and the relay I haven't tried it yet. I know I'm tired of trying to get it cranked after setting at work during the day.

x2 motorcraft plugs. and while your in there upgrade to a stancor relay. search the forum there are a couple links. Newark is good, and the other place charges like $20 shipping.
welcome to the org!

Thanks for the reply. These diesel beast's are different. I've had other trucks before, but this truck feels like it could pull a mountain.

586-902 Stancor General Purpose / Industrial Relays

This is the stancor relay.

7.3 Liter Turbo Diesel Glow Plugs - Ford 7.3 Liter Turbo Diesel Motorcraft Glow Plug

These are the plugs.

I just replaced my glowplugs with motorcraft and upgraded the relay with a stancor. Hasn't ever started this good for me in the cold. Good luck.
