Ball joint removal

I've done my fair share of ball joints but have never had any give me the trouble this d60 is giving me. Is there any special way of getting the knuckle off of the axle? Any suggestions? Or just beat the crap out of it till it gives way?

Its my first 60 so if anyone has any tips or tricks I appreciate the help.

if you got the nuts off the ball joitns already, take a bfh(big f-ing hammer) and whack away. make sure the spindle spindle bolts, spindle, and axle shaft has been removed.

if you having trouble getting the ball joint nuts off, an air chisel and some patience will tea them right off. its tight but the thing should slam right off

thats what I figured, but before I start beating the crap out of it I thought I'd make sure I wasn't gonna destroy anything first. I've never had a ball joint give me this much trouble, but this d60 swap is beating me up.
