Smoked Lenses

Wondering if its possible to smoke out your own lenses like the cab lights, turn makers etc. Is there a process to do this or would I have to go the aftermarket way.

You can buy a can of VHT niteshade or if you have access to painting equipment, you can add some black basecoat to clearcoat and spray them.
