Changing rotors and pads...

Well, I'm not, but I'm having someone do it. I bought the front rotors and pads and I want to know if there is anything else necessary that I should buy. I'm thinking I should buy some brake fluid, which type?

I know there are some brake kits, but I would prefer to use the existing parts. Any advice?

dot 3 for brake fluid, that should be it, might have to replace caliper too if its freezing up but its probably not, just get ready to buy on if the person doing it for you tells you you need it.
