1997 POWERSTROKE CC/SB

I have found a 97 CC/SB with a 7.3. The truck is in good shape but the Motor has 340,000 on the clock. It has a 3900 asking price. Is that too many miles? What is it gonna cost to rebuild if it needs it?

Last long block i priced was $2000. If the seats, suspension and steering / front end are good than i think it,s worth looking at! Depends on how long you plan to keep the truck.

i have a 96 4x4 with 310,000 km on the girl and its still goes strong with all kinds of power, we had a 7.3 non turbo as a farm truck only a 2 wheel drive one ton 5 spd it was a 1989 and when the cab got too bad to fix the third time it had around 460,000 km on it, and it was hard kms on it as we purchased it from irving propane they used it to deliver tanks and then we used it hauling hay/24 foot steel stock trailer.
