Hey guys, i gotta 1995 f-350 PSD and i was wonderin if im runnin a edge evolution 100hp setting and turn my wastegate adjuster flap screw like 1 turn in, Will my fins run to fast and come ungleued?? or will i be safe, OR last option to run more boost would be to just take my wastegate acuator tube off that let her run free as can be. ?!?!?!

Are you running a stock 95 turbo or a superduty(99+) turbo?
|
|

|
ya its the stock garrett

Ok, I only ask because our trucks did not come factory with a wastegate until they 99+ model superduty. I am having a hard time figuring out what you may be talking about by "turning the flap screw"? Is it possible to post pics of what part you may be talking about?

well myns all stock turbo , just with a wastegate that is aftermarket, but not crazy or nuthin, but theres an adjusting screw that u can adjust the amount of pressure that it takes to go out the wastegate, so that means more air stays in the harder the pressure on the flap. Follow me>> so more pressure means moreboost which means faster spinning fins, and thers a certain speed that they start to come apart at, and i was wonderin does anyone know wats the limit for not blowin my **** up and still makin more boost

If its a stock turbo, you don't have a wastegate.
And to answer another question of yours, 30 PSI is the max you wanna push a TP38 or GT38. |

kk i will get sum pics up tomara, but the guy said he had sum turbo work done so maybe he forgot to mention he put a whole nother turbo on it, so i guesss its just an aftermarket wastegate.
