Is this a good deal? 95 psd. $3000

So I found it on Craigslist, now the guy has stopped responding.. not sure why. But here is what the listing says:

I am selling a 1995 ford f250 7.3 turbo diesel for 4,700 obo it has a different rear bumper. It has lights on the tailgate and below the front bumper and on the visor on the roof it just had a new rearend put in about 20 miles ago from a truck that had 90,000 miles on it. it has a 4' suspention lift and 35's that u can see have some decent tread on them. it has a 5 speed transmission and new alternator and brakepads in the front, also has all new brake hartdware in the rear all new brake lines for the rear a k&n air filter.it also has a cd player and it has about 220,000 miles it also has a different grill put in and different lights there smoked and the others are clear IF INTRESTED CALL DUSTIN AT 1-***-***-*** AND NO TRADES THE BAD: it needs the driveshaft ballenced and a new frontend spline gear price is negoitable so im sure we can work something out need gone ASAP filling bankrupcy and need money!!

it looks pretty clean. its a nice blue, he says they is one small dent and one small scratch.. he says no rust. im thinking the spline gear he is talking about it the ring.. because he sais what the axle shaft is getting spun by. he just says it is a little sloppy and has a play..

he said he will go down to $3000, i might be able to go a little lower. what do ya think?

Thats a steal I'd take it. Even if you had to buy a new differential or just a whole junkyard axle (make sure the gears are the same ratio) I think you would still be coming out ahead. Thats my opinion for whats its worth.

Hopefully it has a 4" lift and 35" tires (rather than 4' and 35'). Otherwise, that's one big truck...

Yeah that's a pretty good deal being a manual tranny and all otherwise I might be worried about the auto. I'd take it to a mechanic to check it out of course but seems pretty good. Check for goodies in the valley and excess blowby and whatnot.
