Just poking thru some photos of my truck, and some of the mishaps, and crud ive got it into over the past three years, as well as some evolution. Figured Id share some.

When I first saw her in the dealership lot.


Didnt have the papers signed 10 minutes, and I changed the radio out. Right in the dealer lot no matter sold the factory radio to the salesman for 20 bucks!

About two weeks later...

I couldnt stand the clear windows, it was WAY to bright inside, and the amber lights had to go, same with those steps that bent my rockers...

Got the Cowl hood on...


Got a new tailgate, and diamondplate bedcaps a little before then


The old one was attacked by a 5th wheel and was smashed flat at the top.


Then came the stacks about 8 months in... Also the Downpipe etc.

Seeing this makes me want to take off the toolbox to polish them up lol

New wheels and tires...


Finally got some gauges, and a TW 6 pos. chip, then drove to Kansas City Missouri.


Blew the water pump when I got back, so I had to replace that.

Took me 1 year to track down some LUND vent visors.


Needed a skid loader...


I had to go pick up a parts truck for my 1982 F150, it was a steal at 200 bucks so I had to go get it I drove it up on the trailer even lol


Also got into some the summer after trying to UNstuck a 3500 Chevy Dually. It stayed there at the bottom of the GOO hill... lol


Decided it was Stereo time, and upgraded it all.


Changed all the door speakers as well, and got Sirius

Got pulled over the next winter for stacks, and such so I had to put a toolbox on.


Decided to fix my crinkled bumper from the PO.

Damn thing was STOUT.

Got an LED third brake light... My Cargo light would work when it wanted to, and it bothered me


Put in a Monitor, with backup camera, and DVD player.

Also got attacked by a HUGE rock this summer


Decided it was time to change the GPR and GP's



Deer ran out in front of me, I miss the first few, but not the straggler



Got that all fixed, and remember my crinkled bumper? Well so was the bed.


Front fender had some dimples from rocks getting INSIDE the fenders, and some dents on the bed as well.

So it got fixed too.

Got some HID's put it!


Got some fake LED tail lights.


ANOTHER GPR was put in about this time...

NEXT winter, I got ANOTHER deer. This one hurt a little more.


Somehow missed the lights. ha but pushed the fender back, and dented the door.

So after fighting with the body shop, I got my truck back fixed correctly this time, they completely missed the door and fender damage somehow




Also got my buckstop then.




Then as soon as it got painted and on, the trans died

So out came the trans, and upgraded everything.


Factory line compared to new SS braided.


Then I tracked down some Bronco Signal Mirrors...



Body shop had to repaint my bumper since it was bubbling... so now its not bubbling but came back with clear runs.


Last time I go there!

Put in a power inverter so I can watch Blu-Ray as I drive


Lift Pump died shortly after.


Located some Eddie Bauer Lighted vanity mirrors.


Changed out another GPR, this time with a stancor



Just this week I changed out my horn button, and dome light.



There is another modification in the works right now for the inside of the truck. But Im not letting the cat out of the bag just yet.

I bought an 85 Dana 60 for the truck and rebuilt it.


Decided it wasnt for me, and went even farther out of whack.


Now im collecting parts for the 06 axle swap, and collecting hard to find stuff, like the Bronco Mirrors, and sun visors.

But, I think ive taken the truck a long way in just under 4 years. Ill own it 4 years as of January 31, 2010. Ill never sell it. Thought maybe you all would enjoy the evolution of my truck, and where its going. Im sure by spring it will be much closer to the goal.

Thanks guys! My friends tell me I have a sickness, and its not cureable. I cant leave anything alone lol

Its my Daily Driver, and I wouldnt have it any other way, I can Guarantee you'll never see one like mine, and thats what im out to do. I love having something a LITTLE out of the ordinary.

Yeah, 1996 Eddie Bauer Bronco's had them as an OPTION, and not many people checked it.

I enjoyed the pics. Looks like your truck has had its share of dings and dents! Looks good though! Is that your shop? I wish I had a place I could actually work in! My garage is a dump for garbage. I need to fix that.
OK....my New Year's resolution is to be able to drive a vehicle (maybe not my big truck) into my garage.
