what seats fit in our trucks

im looking to put more comfortable seats in i was thinking of 02 chevy front seats but i dont know how hard it is to make them fit, any one done this

I put Bronco Captain Chairs in my truck. They don't fit. Alittle fed up I think. But I always complain about the cab size. Take ya a tape measure and measure where you will actually sit, the actual seat size. and compare. I have noticed alot of seats have a slightly longer butt part...

Some time ago I think there was an article putting dodge seats in.
Supposed to be heated

edit Did a search. The dodge seats were in a Diesel World Aug 07.
Looked great too.
80-97 seats work,Gen 1 Lighting series truck seats seem to be well liked.

I went to the Junkyard and found a 96? Cash for clunker bronco.

The only thing I did was set the seats in the truck to see where they should be and felt comfortable....
Drilled holes where needed
I did have to stick some washers in between the truck floor and the seats to level them out alittle.
On the Passenger seat Rear Left Bolt (As sitting in seat) I had to remove that tab that secured it to the truck because it sat too low and threw the whole balance off.

Its held in by 3 bolts and feels great!

I don't see why a set from an 83 wouldn't work. just eye up and measure.. Its alittle harder for me cause I have a regular cab...
