trans??

hey im new to this site and i just bought my first OBS and it had a new trans put in 5,000 miles ago with a billet converter and i was wondering if anyone knows how much power i can put thru it ??? Any info would be great thanks

Is the rest of the trans stock? What kind of billet converter?

i think a shift kit it shifts pretty firm and i dont know what kind of converter all i know it was about a 1000 for it and 1000 for the rebuild

For that kind of money you still need to be careful what you put through it. There is a reason these transmissions cost several thousands of dollars to rebuild ($4000 in my case) They just dont handle additional power very well. I would put a custom tune chip that takes in to account shifting parameters but the first sign of slippage or running to hot I would remove it.

I agree, not much more that 300ish. E4OD's dont like power to much at all
