Reverse Shackle no lift??
Hey people,
I have an F250 with the TTB ifs axle and was going to replace the leaf spring and Axle pivot bushings with som Poly bushings (I know it will be a pain in the beepbeepbeep to install them). Now I have seen the SKY Reverse shackle 3" & 5" lift kit, and I know I would need the TTB drop brackets for it to work correctly. But can you just reverse the shackle without buying the lift kit so you are at stock ride height? This might be a stupid question and it may or may not be possible, but for right now I can go with a better ride. Has anyone done this?

The reverse shackle bracket is a new front crossmember that bolts below the front of the frame. That is where the lift comes from. ORU has on that will only give you 2" - 2 1/2" lift. There is no way to get around the lift, because the factory spring mounts are inside the frame on the front, and to use shackles in front they have to be dropped down. I have a shackle reversal and love it. If the truck sits higher in the rear it will level it, according to ORU. I had to add an add-a-leaf to the rear to make mine sit level. You can see the difference in my sig.

I'll let you get practice on your truck, and when you get the hang of it let me know, I'll bring mine over so you can do it next!
