motor cleaning?

is it ok to pressure wash the engine? mines alittle dirty from 320K...

Yes it is...i reccomend getting some of that purple stuff from Autozone or Wal Mart, its concentrated to mix with water but use it straight full strength and spray down your motor first and let it set for 5 minutes and then rinse it off with the high pressure. It works GREAT!
Don't let that stuff get in your eyes or on your skin from the mist...it burns a little and it can't be good for you...

Get some good cleaner like Clay said and presure wash it. It wont hurt. I do everyone I work on.

I do just like clay said and it works great!!

On a side note I was reading through my owners manual the other day and It says that it is not recomended that you wash the motor lol

Just a side note, I don't recomend doing it while the mtr is hot. Wait till it cools down, or before you have run it for the day.

I'm sure it's there so if some moron fills his fuel filter with water he can't bring it in for waranty still funny though, one of them "here's your sign" kinda things

My owners manual has a nice picture that shows what you should cover to keep from getting wet.
