looking at a truck

hey guys im going looking at a truck its a 97 f250 extended cab long box with a 7.3 powerstroke diesel tommaro. it needs a bit of work as i know like the 4wd shifer is broke the rear breaks are gone glow plugs are gone and a few small things like that but nothing serious. there is 8 new injectors in her that is a bonus but i was wondering some things to look for when i am looking at her i know she aint no prise or nothing but she aint too bad and for the price i cant complain so if anyone knows some stuff to look at would be a great help thanks

There is a post on here about what to look for in a used powerstroke. I'm lazy or I'd find it for you. From what I have learned here it seems like the 7.3 is mostly bulletproof if you filter the air going into it and change the oil once in a while. I used to fear diesels, but after 6000 miles on my 96 I just bought, I'm ready to buy another one to replace a gasser.
