My buddy is hooking me up with six gallons of Cat extended service antifreeze. He said to make sure and flush the old out real good. Any advice on a good flushing?? Thanks

Make sure you either cover it well or pull the starter and then take out the plug in the block to drain it before putting the EL stuff in.
I run it too. Never going back. |

Sam could you clairify what you posted? Cover it?? Remove the starter to get the plug out?
I thought I would start the truck up, go get coffee and return home and drain the current fluid, then fill with water drive for another cup of coffee and then flush, fill up again with water and then drive around again and then drain and if the water is clear refill with the Cat juice. Is there more to it than this?? Randy |
