obs vs. 6.0

ok i've just been wondering what my truck would be like with a upgraded turbo. i have a reg cab 96. 5 speed and 4.10 gears on 33's. it has intake exhaust stage 1's intercooler TS 6 postion chip and soon to have the 17* hpop. my question is if i did the beans d66 turbo how would my truck compete with something like a 6.0 with exhaust and tuner or even any of the other newer diesels with a tuner on the them. thanks for any input

If a 6.0 has custom tunes your not gonna keep up and you definitely wont keep up with a 6.4. A D66 is a nice upgrade but with just stage 1s it wont be a huge difference

j/k. it would be a great upgrade tho. especially with the 17* hpop. try to find a 6.0 ic and fit it in. might help a little more

thats what i was thinking. what do you think about compared to a 7.3 SD with just some tunes

yea i just put the ic in this weekend and i got everything for free so i'm not complaining

This is the biggest thing that hendering me from keeping my obs. Its slow and is gonna take a good bit of money just to make it keep up with my superduty and it ain't even fast

yea but if you do make it quick the obs is so much more bada$$
