compression test... help quick
i am compression testing my engine before i put everything on it and put it back in my truck. i have a battery from my truck, fully charged, hooked to jumper cables that are hooked to the starter. i have the tranny still attached also. so my question is, i had my starter tested and it is good, but when i take a screw driver to complete the current, i dont think i am making enough power to engage the part in the starter to shoot out and spin the fly wheel. my start is spinning but just not shooting out to the fly wheel. is there any way to get more power to the start with two batterys??? help please!!!
