Hey guys what size pipe do I need to replace my cat on a 1997 7.3 ? Is it a 3 1/2" diameter and what is the length?

If all you want to do is chop out the cat, I believe it would be a 3 1/2" pipe.

yes its 3 1/2 " pipe but if you gutting that id gut the muffler too

um that sounds about right but id take a little more than that and if you do need to cut it down you can but its better to have to much rather than not enough...
