Need Some Advice

hey guys I ended up selling my 6.0 and have been looking for quite sometime for a nice 7.3. I came across a 97 crew cab with 176k on it. this truck is absolutely pristine, it looks like it came off the show room floor this week. It has all new injectors, glow plugs, turbo, tranny, etc. not to mention it has a custom lift on brand new 40s with triple shocks etc (done right)! The interior is beautiful no rips tears or anything. I mean the guy really took care of the truck, he is the original owner and has receipts and service records since day one. Do you guys think this truck is worth spending 12,500? It is one of the nicest trucks i have personally ever seen. Thanks!!!

Hard to say without seeing it or a more detailed description.

i dont think it is with that many miles.if its as nice as you say,i would go prolly no higher then 10k.you can find a newer 7.3 in great shape with lower miles for that if not cheaper.

Good point The current owner, is really just trying to get some of his money back from his investment into the truck, but you can find a really nice truck, possibly with less miles, for less $$$$. Another thing to keep in mind, is many banks might not even finance that much money on a truck that age, with those kinds of miles. (not to say the motors at the end of it's life or anything)

If you "really" want it, I'd make him a lower offer. 10K, or 10.5K or something like that.
