what wire to tap in to for tach signal for a remot signal?

just as the title says,i need a tach signal so the remote starter knows the truck is running.location of the wire also.

according to the wiring diagram, it should be the white/pink wire going to the instrument cluster. Break it out of the bundle before it hits the instrument cluster

Depending on what kind of voltmeter you have, if you put it on VAC, you might see a voltage, or if you can measure frequency, you might see a pulse.

ok how about ignition wires? theres 4 big yellow wires and all have power all the time. i thought there should be only two? have any info on constant 12v wires and cranking wires?
