remote starters that arent designed for diesels.

i bought a bulldog rs7000 remote starter which is made for a gas engine.will this work for my truck?i live in florida so glow plugs arent a factor all that much.i just want to know if it will work.i just want to make sure nothing wil go wrong and blow up my engine or nothing.

anybody think it will work?i think the only diff is the delay for the glow plugs. let me know

I just searched thier site and see no listing for that model. U should use one that is meant for a Diesel. Even though you live in a warm area you still need to wait a few seconds for the glow plugs to kick in. You just creating extra wear and tear on things

Call the company, there may be extras you can add to the starter. Usually the starters are universal, and have different features depending on the model.
