resistor mod with chip

another resistor mod question froma a newb here i have a 1996 psd 5 speed i have a edge ez chip in it right now and i was wondering if i would make any extra power doing this. i know i should just get a tw or another custom tuned chip but i canh affored it being only 18 and in collage at the moment and i have 2 extra computers for my truck so i thought i would see if its worth a try thanks in advance !

I ran the resister when I was running the superchip programmer, the only difference I noticed was on the top end the truck ran like cr@p. If you do bump up to custom tuning just forget the resister mod.

yeah thats what i want to do after winter is get a custom tune chip and some injectors
