7.3 Exhaust Hack

Today I started doing my downpipe back straight, after I hacked the cat I started it up for fun and the sound is just awesome. I drove it home from the shop like that and was getting plenty of looks! If I ran a small straight and dumped it with a spout under the truck be alright? Any backpressure issues? Stock downpipe is still on there. Thanks, Pete

Just moved into a new house where we know the neighbors. Said something to the wife about my truck, her response was "I thought that was a big rig." Gotta love the 7.3 with straight pipe!

with a turbo on the 7.3 minimal back pressure is good. its a lot better on the turbo. less back pressure= less heat on the turbo= longer turbo life
