DRW rear disc conversion?

I found one, for like $700!!! I'm lookin more towards like ruff stuff specialties bolt on brackets.

Ford Sterling Disc Brake Bracket, '84-'94 [Sterling] - $50.00

These appear to only work on SRW though.

Seems like it would be cheaper up front and in long run to buy brackets & then gather the generic rotors & calipers myself (ESPECIALLY with my employee discount).

did the super dutys come with discs on our sterling axles?

Ok are my hubs interchangeable with OBS SD rear hubs? Like could i get a rear OBS SD rear end from a junk yard and put my hubs or axles in it to keep my bolt pattern but have rear discs?

The OBS trucks have a Sterling/Ford 10.25 axle with 8 x 6.5 in centers and drums. The Super Dutys have the Sterling/Ford 10.5 axle with 8 x 170 mm center and discs. The hubs/axles are not interchangeable. The ring gear is if you go from a 10.5 to a 10.25 and switch carriers. Check out Blackbird custom trucks or TSM manufacturing for a conversion kit. OR go buy a dually rear end from a junk yard and swap it in the spring hangers I believe are the same (they are for SRW trucks). If you do that the dually rear is a Dana 80.
