Fuel Addative

hey guys just joined and have a question. i was wondering what addative you are putting in your fuel to help lube the fuel system on these older trucks? i have heard about 2 cycle mix, marvel mystery oil, and power service but dont which one is best. any ideas are appreciated.

First off, welcome to the ORG. Second, asking which additive is "best" is kind of a loaded question. I personally use Marvel Mystery Oil. A good buddy of mine, uses 2 cycle (ashless) in his fuel. Another friend just adds Diesel Kleen.

My advice, would be to get a little bit of each additive that you're looking at. (small container) Add one to one tank, and add a different one to the other tank, and see if you get a difference between the two. You could do/ try this as many times as you like, until you find an additive that you and your truck like and are happy with. (obviously consider price of additive, and amount of additive to be added)

Best of luck.

mike

Do you think that would help with a 6.0?
