Exhaust Backpressure Valve
I have a 10/97 PSD motor that is out of commission and I am replacing it with another 97 psd motor. I was taking apart my new motor (replacing the HPOP with an Adrenaline and adding other mods) and the EBP valve is on the back side of the resevoir. On my current blown motor (as well as my brothers 10/97psd) the EBP valve is on the plate the covers the nut on the HPOP. My thought is that I actually bought an older 97 motor?? any thoughts on this??? I dont think it is a big deal, i actually looked up Matt Ps write up on the HPOP and his is just like my new motor even though his is a 95...

The later 97s are a bit different. A buddy has one of the later build 97s. I've been meaning to take some pics of the differences that are visible. Post a pic of it.
