Adding PATS (SecuriLock) ??

I've been doing some thinking about an anti-theft system for my truck. The anti-theft system on the newer Fords uses the larger chipped key, a antenna around the ignition cylinder and a brain module. Hook-up is straight foward, just a few wires. The box communicates to the PCM via the data cable (same data lines as APCM and OBD) to control start/no start. Anybody think it would work, or would the PCM not know what the heck to do with the commands, since it wasn't something on a OBS truck?

i know this thread is old, but did u get it to work? and if you didnt, could you use a pcm out of a newer 7.3 that had the chiped key in it?
