Starting problems
Okay so about a week ago my truck started not wanting to start. It would just sit there and crank and crank and then finally kicked over. At first i thought it was the battery cause it had a dead sound to it so i replaced both batteries. It still just sits there and cranks for about 5 seconds and then fires over. Im confused on this. Im starting to think that it is my starter...would this cause this? Is the motor in the starter wearing out and just not having good power to crank right up? I hate to just replace it since its 180 bucks...
Any help would be great Thanks Steve |

i understand these motors nee dto crank about 300 rpms before a start, do you think your hitting that?
also, could be bad glows or glow relay? could you be losing fuel while off, any leaks? how ol dis your fuel filter? |

Whats the Outside Tempurature? And how FAST is it cranking? I know when my GPR was weak, my truck wouldnt start at 55* outside temp.

it may be a starter
but, more cheaply.... when's the last time you did a fuel filter? my recent NAPA starter (~$200) seems to be working nicely if it turns to that... |
