Trans Help Needed

Hey guys I was just wondering if anyone knows if an auto trans out of a 93 7.3 will work in a 97 PSD, I found a parts truck but its a couple hours away so I havent seen it yet just tryin to figure out if I could use the trans before I drive down to look at it, thanks for all your help.

it should but the tc might not i just got mine rebuilt and with a dual disk tc

Im not sure but will it hold up to the 7.3psd and will it be worth swaping and then that trans goes out? I would get it rebuilt also if you would get it rebuilt get a warrenty on it, because I got my tranny rebuilt about a week ago and its in the shop again but its free this time. Goodluck its up to you.
