thermostat gasket leak, help

put it in with no sealant like it says, but still leaking pretty bad. any tips on how to do it right? i've heard of guys doing this 2 and 3 times before it doesnt leak.

make sure you clean both surfaces REALLY GOOD. I used red rtv silicone gasket maker and hasn't leaked yet. got r done first try. good luck bud hope this helps.
