Rear fuel tank strap

Im replacing my rusted tank and theres no bottom strap. I bought the new ones and wondered how the went on?

This is the rear after axle tank.

they should fit right into the grooves of the new tank. Also get rid of the shroud that covers the tank it holds moisture and makes your tank rust. I had the same problem.

If you had the skid plates then they held the tank up instead of the straps.

You're right tsgs I had skid plate it ruined my tank so I went with the straps.guess I should have been more technical.

Ya, sadly I had my tank out at the time that this was happening. I started working on my rear suspension and it started dripping.......My lucky day.
Anyways, 85bucks later and a big PIA I have a new tank. Now Im just waitin on the front.

I did hear that the Bronco tank can fit somehow giving 33 gallon cap.
