Question trans flywheel torque converter kit?

I bought my OBS earlier this year and the guy before me used the maintenance manual and wrote everything down. good thing, good peace of mine. He added a trans flywheel torque converter kit. Does anyone know anything about this? performance wise and just in general?

I am guessing he is calling the flex plate a "flywheel", and that he replaced the flex plate and torque converter.

Calling a flex plate a "flywheel" is a common misconception.
