more power?!?

i got 96 7.3 with 3in dp 4in ext 100hp tuner k&n air
what can ido to make it better beside fuel inj.

other than doing a turbo upgrade or nitrous or propane or water meth injection kit, nothing... if you are running stock injectors than your programmer is probely not giving you the full 100hp probely mor like 80 or so. i put some stage I injetors in my 97 and it absolutly hauls a$$ compared to before with just the mods like you have done. before i was getting around 23psi of boost wit my stock turbo and the mods you have and now i am easily buryin the needle on my 35psi boost gauge and still have a stock turbo.

yeah i tried doin that before and after my injectors and it ran worse and actually shut off one time when i let off the go pedal while goin down a bridge. :drive:

if you did the BB thing.you had it to far in.i did that on mine once.i just went to ford and got the CAL truck plunger kit.not as much pressure as the BB but it was more.it been a few years and i'm wanting to say it was around 58-60lbs with it.

One thing I would do would be to lose the k&n filter, especially if it is a drop in replacement. Try going with a tymar open element or an AFE intake like mine. Also getting a TWildman chip will make your truck run alot better Just my suggetions, good luck with your decisions

i dont know wat the BB thing is. i made my shim from a little tiny nut and two tiny washers to meet the specs of the webpage i got the idea from. the page is an OBS tricks and hints page ive seen it posted on here from time to time. How thick does the shim need to be to give the most power gains without it shutting off or runing like crap?
