Fuel Tank Rust
I just was painting my frame when i droped my skid plates to revel rust and some putty slapped on the tank. The sealer so its tacky and starting seap threw it. Its a 96 f350 4x4 regular cab, and 8 foot bed. My question is what size tank is this? Its steel. i want to replace it with a plastic but theres, two different options from rock auto, either 18 or 19 gallons.
what one do i need? |

The rear is 19 IIRC on the 97. IIRC. Here is some info that doesn't really answer the question for sure. But I think both my tanks are 19 gallons.
Aft of Axle Tank 18.2 gal (US) Midship Tank 4 x 4 w/E4OD trans and 3378 mm (133 in) wheelbase 22.0 gal (US) All others 19.0 gal (US) Fuel Tank Front 17 Gallon F6TZ9002M 19 Gallon F6TZ9002N AFT Axle 18 Gallon F6TZ9002A 19 Gallon FOTZ9002C |
