New Guy Here! - Wheel Question

I just picked up a '96 F250 with 2wd with the manual transmisson and I AM LOVING IT!
I got a killer deal and Ihave a few bucks left over. I'd like to get some different wheels to udate the look a bit.
My question is - Will wheels from later years (1999-2003) fit on my truck? I've looked all over and can't find a straight answer...

No.
FORD F250/350 (1988 thru 1997) 8x6.5in
Ford F250/350/Excursion (1999-current) 8x170mm
However, I have heard that in 05 or 06 they changed back to 8x6.5in but I don;t think so!

...While we're on the subject, does anyone have any suggeations on wheels for the OBS trucks?

I looked at alot of them and went back to the old 5 point star style. Nothing else looked right after seeing these on there for so long.
