Banks I/C going on, where to put Trans cooler?

Hey guys..

In the process of installing the Banks I/C on my truck. It does not seem right to stick the big trans cooler back where it was way out in front where the heated air it throws off will go right into the lower portion of the I/C core.
I really don't want to try to squeeze it between the I/C and A/C cores, then the A/c is going to catch that heat and I'd have to use those little plastic ties to hold it right against the A/C heat exchanger. I don't like those little ties, they wind up rubbing in bad places.
What are you guys doing, any of you used the remote mount fan equipped units? Do they work? I tow pretty heavy over a 7000 ft. summit and want my trans to continue to live.
Any thoughts or your experiences would be appreciated.

Really...

I have not looked at the tubing yet, is that the inlet side of the cooler?
Maybe if I did that the thing would cool down well on it's way to the drivers side outlet, once it gets to the center of the truck it is unobstructed...

thanks, Matt.

thats on the side where the cold pipe comes off the IC, I ran the cooler lines under my radiator and then mounted the bigger cooler I have vertical, on the passenger side

I used a SD cooler and mounted it in the front bumper. As suggested by BTS

On a hot summer day (90+) pulling at about 21k it'll max out at about 210.
Within 10 miles of the cresting the summit on the downhill side it will be down to 190.
On flat ground running at about 62 MPH with that load 175-180. (Same 90* temp)
Unloaded, 150ish.
