bigger turbo for my 97?

hey guys i'm new here and just love this site, well i was wondering if any body has tried to install a 99-01 turbo to a 94.5-97ps. i can see the turbo on these 99 -01 are bigger. is this a eazy bolt on? let me know thanks....d.

the newer turbos are very different than the one on your obs.
if you want an easy upgrade try Beans and their D66 turbo it is a direct bolt on and it flows alot of air. that is probably what i will go to when i upgrade my turbo.

The SD turbo isn't really an upgrade either. You can get the pedistal, up-pipes, exhaust y, a modified downpipe, and a SD intake Y pipe and then go with the turbonetics replacement turbo or the ball bearing garret turbo. Thats the only way to benefit from stepping up to the SD set-up.

If it helps at all I am also planning on getting beans Dominator 66 turbo. beansdieselperformance.com good luck
