i just made the switch to valvoline 5w40 extreme blue synthetic. so far im happy. i dont notice anything but its a better peace of mind.
my reason for switching to that oil was because i know quiet a few people who have ran that since new and have never had to replace an injector, with over 100k on their trucks and mine with 80k i have been changing injectors since i bought my truck. |

If you do develop leaks or use to much oil you can always go back to dino. I always ran Delo 400 in the 86. The Redline synthetic I run just ran through that old motor. Didn't leak. Just to much oil getting past the rings. Went back to Delo. Might want to change or flush the oil in the HPOP also.
