Flatbeds....
Ok so I posted something about this in the Fab forum a while back and really didn't get much of a response, I think its just not read by too many users. Anyways im looking to build a flatbed for my OBS with a headache rack too, I need lots of storage and need to mount a compressor, welder/generator. Any ideas or pictures would be great..
Here are some pics of a few I like. ![]() ![]() ![]()

keep your eye on tractor supply sales. they have the under body boxes in 24, 36, 48 inch. I have 4 under body boxes two mounted under and two mounted on top. i have a ingersoll rand 2 stage 30 gal air compressor mounted and a 60 inch tool box with drawers also. in between the compressor and the tool box i have a 39 inch tool box. be creative and give it some serious thought. i installed air bags under the rear axle. i bolted my boxes down with some spacers running the entire length of the boxes so it will not hold water or dirt. i mounted the compressor on body isolators from summit. i'll try to post some pics tomorrow.

bradford built all the way! The sides fold down if you need it completly flat + they have built in slots so you can use a 2x6 for a tail gate + it has the holes so you can put side boards on it for fire wood an stuff. One thing that is awesome is it replces the rear bumper and has the hitch reciever built in and a goos neck ball hidden in the bed. I never liked flat beds untill my brotherinlaw got one of thses for his dodge and I realy like it his. If I ever get a long bed I think i am going to have to go with one of these.

Check out Highway products website. I came across them while I was looking for my flatbed. The specialize in aluminum beds, and have some drawings with specs.
