UPDATE--THE JERK WHO MADE THE DEAL WITH ME SOLD IT TO SOMEONE ELSE BEFORE I COULD GET THE MONEY OVER TO HIM!
Just checked out and am buying a 1997 F350 PSD. Crew cab, 5 spd, cruise, SRW. 154K miles on it, and upon inspection by a mechanic, needs bout $1,800 to get it to be just about perfect (still has almost all original parts, so some are wearing out). The two shackles up front seem to be the weak point--they worn the rubber off and I will have to get them replaced. Also, the passenger side ball joints have too much play, and need to get the steering linkage tightened back up. Cracked windshield, and it needs a coolant flush (how many barrels of Prestone does that thing hold, anyway?).
So we worked out a deal to pay $7k for it. So after getting the things done that need to be, $9k will be invested into it. The body is in excellent shape, drivetrain strong and tight, and no leaks anywhere (if only I could say that about my Cherokee

).
