"Ford" tailgate stamp.

As you can see part of the stamp on my tailgate is broken off. Most of the black strip is broken off. I bought the truck like this.

The tailgate is either off of a '92 or '96 F250. I'm wondering if a stamp from any year F250 will fit on my current tailgate.

I'm also wondering if a stamp off a certain or any year F150 or F350 will fit.

I think you have to replace that whole chrome molding. and the f150-f450 all have the same body parts.

Yeah that's what I meant. The entire plate, not just the black strip. I know it's connected to the tailgate by four screws.

Thanks. That'll make it a lot easier finding one knowing I can get one off of an F150.

I think there a buncha plastic clips holding it on too but I cant remember.

lmc has the chrome plate by its self. and 88-97 tail gates are the same. but each year has a small difference on some.
