bigger fuel tank

i'm thinking of changing the rear tank for a bigger one on my 96 truck but can't find one i heard that the rear super duty one will fit with a bit of modifacations to the chassis has anyone fitted one or seen it done.

A lot of guys run a 38 gal Bronco tank. One from a full size Bronco. If you go to diyinjectors.com I think Jim has a wright up on it.

Yes two stock tanks = about 32 to 34gal. Bronco + front stock tank = about 48gal. So you gain about 14 to 16 gallons

I like this idea! Now I am interested. What year bronco tank? Also, what about the spare tire?? This is whole lot cheaper than the transferflow.

yea the bronco tanks work well (if you remove ur spare) I might have a writeup saved on my comp somewhere but I will have to check

Don't know if they still make them, but I helped my grandfather install a 40 and 45ga Transferflo tank on his 95 a few years back.

I just read were a guy [cowboy dan] on PSN installed a 05 F550 aft 40 gallon tank with some modding.
