nerf bars or running boards?

im going to put some steps on my truck next year but don't really know what would look the best. does anyone have any suggestions to what I should do?

IMO I think nerf bars are a much better look than running boards.

well i know that running boards help block rock chips more than you think, however i just decided to put nerf bars on and i love them

i'd say it would look good, you could even paint it to match your truck and it would still look good

well anything will rust eventually, that's why i'm going to be line-x ing my rockers soon so that my rockers won't rust out because of the rock chips

ya, it would probably take them along time for them to rust if i keep them clean and in good shape.
