I think they'd look good. Actually though, I just got done smoking my tail lights and I'm going to do my 3rd brake light too. I'm seriously considering doing my head lights with just 1 coat as well. I bought a product called VHT nightshades. Its "smoke" in a can. Its spray paint basically. It cost about $12 a can on ebay + shipping. All I did for prep work on my tails was lightly scuff them with scotch brite, sprayed on an automotive adhesive promoter, sprayed 2 coats of nightshade, and then 2 coats of clear, all in aerosol spray cans you can pick up at your local auto paint store... My tails are still sitting on the counter in the garage. It will be Monday before I get them back on as I'm working all weekend, but I plan on posting before and after pics.... The nightshades is something you might consider before spending over $90 on another pair of lights.

Thanks Jeff, yeah that shipping charge is rediculous. I would just spray the headlights, but I really like the euro style thats really the only thing thats holding me back from spraying them, But im pretty sure ill spray the tail lights

Not sure what the difference is, but the stuff Raul sells is from Japan, and VHT Niteshades is from a popular spray paint manufacturer. The VHT spray that Kurt is using is definitely alot cheaper price wise and also you should be able to find it locally, and a paint store or parts store. |
