Talking Block Heater Cord Mods?

Hey guys,
If this has already been discussed then I apologize in advance.
I was just curious to see if anyone has done any mods to the bumper or something to install a plug in for your block heater cord? Can you let me know how it went and possibly how much it cost? Possibly pics? I am looking to install a plug instead of the cord just kinda hanging out.

Like I said, sorry if this was already discussed, but thanks for all the info!

I put a spring-loaded covered recepticle from a Kenworth in my front bumper. It uses a standard heavy-duty extension cord end from Home Depot in it. I think the cost was about $50 way back in 2002 or so and is way more convienient than opening the hood or letting it dangle. There is also the Marinco unit that a lot of folks use. Cheers!

I used to hang a "caution tag" on the steering wheel when the truck was plugged in so either me or my wife wouldn't forget to unplug before driving off. Cheers!
