I'de say take the rest of the body side moulding off if you do decide to purchase it. It looks a lot cleaner without it.

So. My truck is an XLT and never came with it. Also too OBS XL's have grey grills, grey trim around the headlights, and grey painted bumpers. Thats more noticable than missing body side moulding.

The bed has been replaced. How can I tell, well it is a completely different shade of white then the rest of the truck. Not because it has been repaintend. But the whole bed has been replaced. Makes me think the vehicle was in an accident involving the rear of the vehicle. Why do I say that well those tail lights look way to good to be from 96.
