EVERYONE IS TELLING ME NOT TO LIFT MY TRUCK

They say that it is hard on my u joints etc. Mainly they weren't enginered to be lifted . I already bought a ne 4" skyjacker for it now I don't understand should I sell it or keep it. My truck is rough exterior wise I bought it new in 97, so it's not like i'm making it look good i guess. Just confused!

Make your truck look the way you want, millions of others already have. Will it cause stress on other parts, sure! But not enough to have you nervous enough to consider selling the lift. Just put it on, and smile and wave to the people that told you not too.

If you want to lift it lift it.
As far as the lift being hard on the truck, 4 incher isnt that big of a deal.
