Cracked radiator support?

Hey guys so the radiator support in my 97 obs keeps cracking in the same spot. And ideas what would cause this to happen?

It is completely "normal" for the top bar to get stress cracks.

I weld the cracks, then gusset them. Never anymore problems

Looking for Blue 40-20-40 seats. PM me !!!!!!!

Thinking about putting an angle iron on the front would it help?

Mine also broke on two different spots on the top bar.
I used a 16ga angle, as wide as the rad support welded on the top and on the front. Topped it with a 46" 1/8" thick flat bar also welded across. Should be strong now.

Does anyone know of an aftermarket replacement for the core support for the 7.3? Or is my only option fixing the one I have?
