Adding keypad entry to an OBS F350

Ok,
I have heard rumor that installing a keypad for keyless entry to an OBS is possible provided you have keyless remote entry.

Anyone done this and/or what you share how to do it? I would think i simply need to connect the keypad wires to the module but that is where my guessing ends.

I want to do this after vacation so if you want to share, i want to learn.

1997 F-350 XLT Lariat Crewcab long box 4x4. Oxford white with an ugly green. 133xxx miles. Hide away goose neck, banks turbo, exhaust, inner cooler, intake filter and gauges.

If you search adding rke to an obs the write up is in there, just pin in 7 wires and your done, but have to have rke in the truck already

Is testing if you have RKE in the OBS just like in the super duty Key ON/Key OFF like 5-7 times?

No, look under the dash it's between the chime box and cubby hole to lower right of steering wheel, has 3 plugs in it, if you remove the lower dash its easy to spot, has 5 digit code on it

There is a grey 2 prong plug you have to "short" it and then program the key fob, not sure on the exact procedure but it's in the rke write up in the general chat, bill did a good one on programming the fob and adding the key pad

Yessir, and the dealer has a plug they hook in there that does exact same thing without looking ghetto lol
