OBS Topper / Cap

I need to put a topper on my truck for vacation and am checking out craisgslist.

Are there any other brands, years or models of trucks that have a comparable topper that will fit? It doesn't have to be perfect but close!!

97 f350 CC LB

Thanks for your help!

Any 8 foot one should work, the tonneau covers are the tricky ones iirc

I am trying to find a Shell for my CC SB and am having a hard time also. Will a shell from trucks mentioned above fit as long as they are for a short bed?

Trying to afford modifying 2 vehicles is tough!

The bed size might fit, but the cab angles will be off. If you don't care if they line up then go for it.

Your right on the fords, they are the same. But the dodge and the Chevy are not the same as far as a fit on the cab how it should be. If you want a shell that looks right then buy one made for your truck.

Before the big 3 went in their own direction(88 chev, 94 dodge,99ford) the caps were all the same. They did NOT make one for each brand like they do today.

For example. This came off of a 76 chevy

And this came off a mid 80s dodge

I am not sure what brand your talking about, but the centry brand they did in fact make one that was for the ford and one that was for the Chevy. The Chevy cap would fit the older dodge.

Had to be patient (watched Craigslist for about 6 months) but finally found one the right color and size. I put it on for road trips.

Denton, TX

I envy those that know exactly which modification to make and in the most logical of sequences. But not enough to trade for my meanderings and misfires.

1996 F250 crew cab/short bed, 4x4, auto PSD, 6637 air filter, interior grab handles, stainless window vents, remote door locks work with engine running mod.
